MISTELA, White wine Liqueur from La Gomera Island

Elaboration:

La Mistela is a drink made with white wine, spices, orange peel and caramelised sugar and it is obtained after resting this mixture for a while in maceration. Grape brandy is also included to increase the graduation. It is one of the most characteristic flavors of the island and leaves on the palate a sweet sensation that is ideal for after eating.
